Fungus specializes in recreating the festive atmosphere that followed the Dead to each of their concerts. With an ever-changing set list, FUNGUS shows are fresh, fun and full of surprises at every turn. Motivated by the joyous response of the audience, the band always kicks it into high gear. While their instrumentation harkens back to the early days of folk string bands, they have pushed the boundaries of traditional with their original compositions by infusing elements of bluegrass, newgrass, jazz, funk, fusion and improvisation to define a new genre of acoustic music.
