Beauty Slap is a genre-defying powerhouse that fuses thunderous brass, sultry keys, and infectious electronic grooves to create their signature sound, self-described as “future-brass-thunder-funk.”

Since forming in 2017, Beauty Slap has been making waves with their electrifying performances in clubs all over the country – from performing on the racetrack at the Indy 500 to alongside the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. With most of the members now serving as professors, they’ve also been sharing their knowledge and passion for music at colleges across the country.

Based out of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Big Blitz was born from the sounds of dance, rock, and jazz. This trio is comprised of Lucas Ciesielski (Saxophone), Nick Grabigel (Drums), and Mason Ciesielski (Saxophone and Synth). The band performs in a unique style, combining their individual musical influences to create a captivating sound. Whether plugged in or acoustic, Big Blitz delivers a high-energy performance that is guaranteed to transform any of your preconceived notions of the music that can be created by a saxophone-and-drum trio.
