The Sun Champs
Formed in late 2017, The Sun Champs, a Pittsburgh-based funk rock band began crafting a unique sound which incorporated rock, funk, blues, jazz, and latin influences.  The band consists of blues-rock guitar connoisseur Randall Penn on vocals and guitar, multi-instrumentalist Michael Cerveris on guitar and keys, master jazz enthusiast Gerald Homme on the alto, tenor, and soprano saxophones, and the funk-gospel rhythmic juggernaut pairing of Ryan Black on bass guitar and Jordan Allen on drums.

Made up of members with various musical backgrounds, The Sun Champs focused their mission on writing and performing their own musical compositions and constantly challenging their own ideas in order to create a seamless live show, which has been described as a thrilling multi-genre jam session.

In June 2019, The Sun Champs independently produced and released their first self-titled EP and brought their live show to more Pittsburgh audiences with a resounding and welcoming response. The band began recording and producing their debut LP “Equator” in March 2020.  Equator will be available on all streaming platforms on August 25, 2023.

Giant’s Causeway
Giant’s causeway is a funk rock band that draws from its members diverse musical backgrounds and experiences from jazz to jam bands, metal to musical theater, and everything in between. Music transcends time, unifies language and manifests culture; Giant’s Causeway aims to speak the common tongue.

Taking Shapes
Taking Shapes are a 4-piece, Pittsburgh-based band which showcases the talents of both schooled and self-taught musicians to bring a uniquely groovy musical experience to various festivals, breweries, listening rooms, private parties, and other Pittsburgh stages. Put together in 2019 by Alex Talbot, one of Pittsburgh’s finest guitarists, this band borrows the light-touched, talent of Rob Myers on the drums, the groove-focused basslines of David Traugh, and the soulful energy of Al Reiber’s vocals to bring to the stage a delicious mix of original music and creatively arranged covers which span generations and genres, including soul, roots, psychedelic, folk and classic rock, funk, blues, americana, jazz and more.
