Since 2017 the Pittsburgh full band hip hop outfit BACK ALLEY SOUND has been rocking stages with explosive energy and pure ‘trash-magic’. The boys are hitting venues with guitar, bass, drums, keys, saxophone and a rapper in a never before seen slew of chaos. Releasing a handful of singles through the late teen-thousands and an album with a B-sides EP in 2021, the team is ready to drop tunes once again. Diving deeper into their pursuit of hip hop with roots in jazz, rock and pop the BACK ALLEY SOUND “Booster Pack” is ready to fill your ears. Are you ready?
In their small existence, Old Neon has been building a resume that includes performing at Three Rivers Arts Festival and being selected 105.9 the X’s ‘hometown for the holidays.’ Capping off their year with opening slots at Mr Smalls’ main stage and a sold out show at Crafthouse, 2023 is shaping up to be the year of Neon.
With DIY ethics and songs evoking introspection, the anthemic music will make you move! If you like genre-bending pop, you will love Old Neon!
Dopamine, what is it all about? better find out.
